Die cards for a friend

I'm gathering quite a few dies these days.  They make lovely quick cards so made two for a friend who is ill to post a week apart to remind her I'm thinking of her.
My latest die is Frantic Stamper's Singing in the Rain set. Just love this die set.  I also die cut Impression Obsession clouds onto white felt and used a Fiskars punch for the sentiment.
Next weeks' card was made using Impression Obessions' Floral heart die, Tim Holtz's bird punch and some Memory box bird dies on Kraft. The wording stamp is an old Frienship border stamp from Hero Arts.

Victorian Floral

Found a super magazine pack complete with this Sheena Douglas Victorian Floral die kit, Poppy Stamp set, Woodgrain Embossing folder and template, plus a Video tutorial. With a friend's birthday coming up, I decided to put this Crafter's Inspiration pack to good use right away.  I included Die-Versions Happy Die and PTI Birthday die. I used a few Faber Castell Gelatos to colour cream card stock before cutting the flowers and stamping the leaves.  My friend likes poppies so hoping she likes my card.

Quirky Journal Page

I've been unwell for a few days, but continued to work until today. I stayed home to recover properly and felt up to some art play by mid afternoon.  Something fun and Zanny would pick me up, so feeling inspired by Kate Crane, came up with this journal page.

Blog return

After a long break and making other things a priority, it's now a great time for me to return to blogging.
During my "blog vacation" I still created so will upload those projects, out of date order over the coming weeks.

Due to the volume, the details of these may be sketchy so please email me if you have any queries.

Here are today's efforts.  A card for my husband tomorrow, made mainly from scrapbook paper and die cut birds.

The other I made today is a card made using the lovely Tim Holtz Bird Feather stamp set I recently received and felt the need to get ink on them for the first time.  I stamped the nest and eggs on paint chips I picked up from a hardware store.
